Hello everyone! Thank you for your support for the Kaya Mong Maging Super Yaya books. As of the moment, we have sold over 500 book sets locally and internationally. We have reached out to parents who are employing Filipino nannies overseas! From the United States, to Australia, to Singapore, to Hongkong, to Tokyo and Canada, we are grateful for your support, and happy that more and more yayas are trained to be better at taking care of our children. Here are some sample pages, if you are curious to see what's inside.
Thank you to those who have sent great reviews and telling us your Yaya's story and how much they have improved after reading the book. Thank you too to the Mommy bloggers who have reviewed the books. We are truly appreciative of the attention. We encourage you to write more reviews and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
YAYA ENRICHMENT CLASSES CONTINUE
Before I left the Philippines, I passed the "baton" to awesome trainers who have expressed interest in continuing the Yaya enrichment classes in the Philippines. I met them all one by one, and we all were pretty much in agreement that indeed, Yaya training is very crucial for the professional and personal development of our Yayas, and in turn, would greatly benefit our children. Out of 9 trainers spread throughout Manila and Cebu City, 3 have already started their program in the Taguig, Makati and Marikina. Check them out!
Hanna Fernando – Pacua is a military wife and mom to 5-year old Tonyo, an aspiring veterinarian and artist. She is currently working with an international development organization, handling training development and delivery, market awareness, and knowledge management. She has previous experience in development communication, corporate social responsibility, youth development, and volunteer management. She is a BS Human Ecology, Major in Social Development graduate of the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, and in 2015 earned her Master of Development Communication degree (graduated with honors) from the University of the Philippines Open University. In 2013, she was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni Awardee of the UPLB College of Human Ecology.
At 33 years old, Hanna spent a significant part of her life with her very own Super Yaya! She believes her Yaya played a huge role in her growing up years: from changing nappies and cleaning scraped knees; to studying for exams and forming friendships. Her Yaya Dayday has been part of the family for 34 years, and is now also Tonyo’s yaya. Given this long-term relationship, Hanna is very much aware of the yayas’ value, role, and influence in the family.
Hanna has conducted several Yaya workshops in AA Achievers Academy in Taguig. If you are interested in Hanna's services, email her at email@example.com.
